How I got here
A short story of my journey in academia before I was a full-time researcher.
Read the note →I am a master's research student at Mila and Université de Montréal, where I am supervised by Prof. Sarath Chandar and Prof. Ross Goroshin. My current research interests are in agentic memory, reinforcement learning exploration/discovery, compositional generalization, and sampling.
Before coming to Mila, I did my undergrad at the University of Toronto where I studied Computer Science and Statistics. Before coming to Toronto for university, I did most of my schooling in Singapore. I finished my primary school, secondary school, and junior college there, and I also did two years of military service in the Singapore Army. Before I moved to Singapore, I was born and raised in the United Kingdom.
